The Role of Digital Technologies in the Transition to a Circular Economy
At the end of 2023, 60% of GDP passed through digital channels, and over two billion people consumed goods and services online.[1] Digital technologies offer an immense opportunity to rewire our economy in a more circular manner. Robotics, AI, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Augmented Reality and Big Data all have significant potential to accelerate the circular economy.
This webinar will showcase a range of Scottish case studies to illustrate how businesses are taking advantage of these new opportunities, as well as providing insight on the wider support and expertise available to kick-start your own journey into the digital world. From data tracking for reusable packaging, or adopting AI controlled robotics for waste sorting, we invite you to consider the ways that digital technologies can help your own business to address the climate crisis.
